Salut! My name is Amaïa Lamarins and I am a french post-doctoral researcher currently working at the University of Helsinki (Finland) in the EvolConGen research group.

My research interests focus on the eco-evolutionary dynamics of (meta)populations and their capacity of persistence and adaptation to global changes.

To carry out my research, I mainly use a modeling approach where I simulate virtual populations and compare different scenarios. This allows me to better understand complex biological systems such as salmonids without affecting them.
